VPL One Night Cup #1
Rules
To participate in the VPL competition, all captains and players comply with the written rules below. Participating in the VPL competitions Club and Player have accepted the following rules. All complaints regarding the competition will be determined by reading the rules and these can not be ignored once the Club are validated to the VPL GLOBAL.
This Regulation must be read and applied to all the clubs and the player involved in our competitions. Examination and application of the various points are the responsibility of the Manager of the Club.
Requirements Clubs
The Club to play the NIGHT Cup must have the following requirements:
Have a team in the VPL Website
Tournament System
The Cup operates with a limit of 32 Teams.
8 groups of 4 Teams.
Top 1 of each Group will progress to the knockout stages.
Knockout stages are single games, if a draw at the end of the game - Extra Time and Penalties will be required
Game Times
The match will be disputed before the expiry of it. You can check through the MY CALENDAR page
Groups Stage - Single Match (No Home/Away)
Match 1 - 20:30 UK TIME
Match 2 - 21:00 UK TIME
Match 3 - 21:30 UK TIME
Finals Stage
QUARTERS - 22:00 UK TIME
SEMIFINALS - 22:30 UK TIME
FINAL - 23:00 UK TIME
GMT (UK TIME) // Portugal - England
GMT +1 // Italy - Spain - France - Poland - Germany
Pre Game Rules
Managers may only use a 5 minute grace period after the official kick off time.
Home Team will Invite the Away Team.
Teams have 2 chances to start the game, if on the third attempt there is still an issue.. The game must be played regardless.
In Game Rules
Teams must use 11 players in the field and ‘ANY’ role - This is mandatory
Time wasting is forbidden, proof will be required when making a claim.
Tiebreakers
Groups Stage
Teams are ranked according to points (3 points for a win, 1 point for a draw, 0 points for a loss), and if tied on points, the following tiebreaking criteria are applied, in the order given, to determine the rankings:
Points in head-to-head matches among tied teams;
Goal difference in head-to-head matches among tied teams;
Goals scored in head-to-head matches among tied teams;
Away goals scored in head-to-head matches among tied teams;
If more than two teams are tied, and after applying all head-to-head criteria above, a subset of teams are still tied, all head-to-head criteria above are reapplied exclusively to this subset of teams;
Goal difference in all group matches;
Goals scored in all group matches;
Away goals scored in all group matches;
Wins in all group matches;
Away wins in all group matches;
Final Stage(Knockout)
In case of a tie, the teams will proceed e proceed in this way:
You will play a third game (the tie-breaker), a match without the rule of the Golden goal.(complete game)
In case of tie after the tie-breaker, the match will proceed with extra time and the penalties
Fair play and general conduct
To ensure smooth progress in competitions, we should invite the players and managers not to talk if they don’t agree, but we invite themselves to compliment or encourage each one if necessary;
Staff is required to RESPECT these Rules.
